Our love for Kate Spade’s Book of the Month clutches is well-documented, and considering the time of year, the company’s latest titles to grace its handbags are oh-so-appropriate. Can you think of many classics more romantic than Emma and Romeo and Juliet?

No? I didn’t think so. And if you’re sick of the average heart-theme Valentine’s Day tchotchkes and want something a little more creative for yourself, hurry up and order one of these. Maybe Bloomingdale’s can have it overnighted to you in time for Valentine’s Day, but if not, I think they’d be a rather adorable accessory to carry on dates any time of year. Buy through Bloomingdale’s for $325.

I’m loving the Romeo and Juliet clutch!

I choose the happier ending. Emma, Kate Spade’s pastel Valentine Book of the Month clutch, better reflects my color choices for date nights. If I’m going to show my softer side, it is then. And since I have but one man on my mind these days, I don’t find the bag’s reverse quote from Jane Austen too controlling. Emma is simply, at last, focused.

Shakespeare! Its not Macbeth or The Taming of the Shrew, my favorites, but still- I’m going to see Gnomeo and Juliet this weekend because I love the bard’s plays so much.

I’d be all over a Pride & Prejudice clutch. Emma is not my favorite Austen novel.

I saw the Romeo and Juliet clutch at my mall yesterday and was very tempted to buy it. If it were a little less it would be a no-brainer, as it is I still really want one and may end up purchasing.
