Almost, but not quite. It was a busy weekend for celebs, what with Wimbledon, extremely high-profile weddings and a mass celeb exodus from Paris Couture Week. All that celeb news, combined with numerous celeb cheating/divorce rumors that we’re too classy to mention here will indubitably make for some premium tabloid reading tomorrow.
Chanel fashion shows are not, by and large, elusive events. They’re some of the most well-documented happenings in fashion, with both media and attendees reporting back via traditional industry news channels and social media. That’s why it’s been so weird that we couldn’t get close-up shots of the Chanel Cruise 2016 runway bags until now.

There may not be much for bag lovers to anticipate inside Paris Haute Couture Week (even brands known for their bags generally don’t include them in couture collections), the bag-spotting outside is still excellent. Fashion insiders come from all corners of the globe to see the world’s finest clothing, and they bring great bags with them.
Social media has taken over our lives; everyone is connected at all times on multiple platforms. I am still an Instagram girl at heart, though–I love updating our accounts @purseblog and @pursesandpaws. Our community on PurseForum has grown drastically over the last 10 years, and while everyone is sharing their latest and greatest purchases on tPF, they are also sharing on social media.
Prada has a handful of highly recognizable bags, including its Double Bag (here are the beautiful colors to expect for Fall) and the Lux Tote. There are, of course, plenty of other bags from the brand that are released seasonally, but the Prada Inside Bag, new for Fall 2015, has inspired anticipation that we haven’t seen for Prada in a while.
We’re here to help make your Monday a little less Monday, and over on TalkShoes, it all starts by shopping the weekend’s 9 best shoe deals! As Couture Week drew to a close in Paris, we spotted Anna Dello Russo wearing a pair of dramatic red Marco De Vincenzo Braided Sandals to Fendi’s debut couture show (and you’ll see why the show was extremely controversial). We also can’t stop obsessing over Irina Shayk’s Versace Lucite Heel Sandals, which she wore to the brand’s couture show last week.

Cheeky clutches may be a recent trend for some brands, but the idea has but one true originator: Judith Leiber. The brand is famous for its Austrian crystal-covered minaudieres, crafted to resemble things like elephants or bundles of grapes. Leiber’s distinctive styles are coveted by women the world over, whether the bag is a special acquisition for a wedding or part of a larger collection of the brand’s objets d’art.
