The famous duo who started off on one of my favorite sitcoms, Full House, is continuing to take the world by storm. The Olsens’ highly talked-about fashion line, The Row, has given us bags to talk about because of their beautiful designs and exorbitant prices.

The latest creation from The Row packs a hefty price tag punch in a compact bag, 5″ height x 7″ width x 2.25″ depth. The Row Twin Mini Messenger Bag features contrasting pattern ostrich leather on either side. The shoulder strap is adjustable and long, and the interior has smooth leather lining and an internal zip pocket. The price is a whopping $4,700 via Barneys NY.

So did you know that there was a new episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on last night? I had no idea. There was no corresponding episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta on Sunday night, so I thought that we were all free and clear until next week. Not so!

The show lacked any major fights or meltdowns, but it was pretty entertaining nonetheless. If I had my way, Brandi would go to every taping three cocktails deep and full of Xanax. That would probably be bad for her health, though, so I suppose I can include that in my nightly prayers. Oh well. A girl can dream. I bet the dreams are extra interesting on a klonopina colada.

Happy New Year everyone! We are so excited to spend another year sharing our love of handbags with you. I stopped making the typical New Year’s Resolutions years ago, as I never seemed to follow through (eating better and exercising more only lasted for a few days). Instead, I have chosen to make resolutions that I can follow through with – and that involves my handbag collection (here are my resolutions from last year).

A couple months back we had the privilege to take a first look at the Coach Men’s Collection for Spring. The line mixes rugged and cool with some influences of boxing and baseball.

Particularly interesting was the line of wallets that were made out of old baseball gloves. The gloves were taken apart by Coach artisans and then each wallet was sown together by hand. I like my leather accessories to show a nice patina over time with use, with these wallets you get the rugged shine, smell and touch right from the start.

I never seriously considered Coach as a major contender in men’s accessories until I saw this preview up close. The prices are great and the style is on-point.

Thanks to Amanda for holding down the virtual PurseBlog fort while Vlad and I spent Christmas in Germany and the Czech Republic. I planned to do some work while abroad, but we spent every minute of every day exploring new cities and taking in the culture (and cuisine). For this reason, I took a straight eight days off work and it was glorious. But now I am back and Amanda will get a little downtime before 2012 begins.

I’m not the only person who spent the holidays traveling, as this is the season for millions to leave home. I have finally come along to the idea of having a more luxurious carry on bag, and the Bottega Veneta leather travel trolley is my latest want.
