Yayoi Kusama for Louis Vuitton Infinite Kusama Accessories and Small Leather Goods (18)

By now, all of you are probably familiar with Infinitely Kusama, the collection of ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes and accessories that Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama has designed for French luxury powerhouse Louis Vuitton. We showed you all of the collection’s full-sized handbags last week, but we know full well that handbag lovers, particularly LV handbag lovers, don’t just get excited about bags; there’s a whole world of accessories to go along with them, from leather wallets and agendas to scarves to sunglasses.

It’s clear by the sheer volume of pieces in Infinitely Kusama that Vuitton expects this collection to be a hit in the vein of past collaborations with Stephen Sprouse and Takashi Murakami. The company allowed her to speckle nearly every type of piece that it makes, including a really fun watch that I’d love to have in my collection. If you dig the Kusama look but aren’t sure that a full-on handbag would find a useful spot in your bag collection, a cuff or key pouch might be exactly what you need. Check out all the accessories after the jump, and if you’d like to see the Kusama x Vuitton shoes, head over to our sister site TalkShoes. Most of the collection is expected to hit stores July 10, with the bags following in October.

    So fun…LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!

Never see so disappointing collection from LV. Probably will never buy any of this collection….

    For office look? Too childish

For causal look? Too similar to the stuff that you can buy from accessory shops in Korea or Japan

For evening look? Wonder any guy will be interested in me…

    • Seraphimhymn

I’m Korean and now living in Japan. Absolutely agreed with you… haha

How stupid. Of curse, you don’t know anything about art… Yayoi Kusama + Vuitton is perfect!

  • Alexandra Davidoff

    LOVE the scarves. Quirky-cool.

Big mistake, It looks like everything is diseased.

    one word: UNIMAGINATIVE.

Most of the stuff is ugly. There was a cute scarf on page 2 with the monogram pattern but otherwise it’s a pass

  • Sonya

    Absolutely wonderful!!!!

    Still love this collection.

    how much the glass?

  • Seresy

I wasn’t impressed by the bags – the scarves with swirly dots over the classic monogram (slide 2? I think?) were more like what I was hoping for with this collection. A Speedy/Neverfull/Lockit would look SO AWESOME in with this pattern.

    • Seresy

      Slide 1, sorry :)

  • bryologue

I’m not in love with the bags but the scarves look nicer. It could have been better if the large “LOUIS VUITTON’ writing were not there, though. It looks like an off-center watermark.

I really love the glasses and the wallets… but the rest is… kind of unimaginative, I agree. Would have expected more from the whole collection - It´s not even ugly, just boring.

  • Fiona-Brasil

The most unfortunate collaboration I saw in my life.I wouldn’t buy even a scarf.

  • Tara

I like the cuffs and bangles but the scarves are boring and the rest of the accessories look cheap. I agree that it’s a very unimaginative collection.

    As
it always is with the Group of Death, louis vuitton outlet one of the tall trees of world football gets
cut down. And on a day when all the teams in Group B were equipped with an axe
    - that they could either behead another or get their own lopped off – it was
ultimately the Netherlands who lay down theirs and one embattled Portuguese
    player who came out swinging.

  • Fabulous

    Fabulous,
Its amazing how Jacobs keeps surprising us with those artistic colaboration collections, not to mention that Yayoi Kusama is a very well known artist in the Arts world, so for those who understand and  appreciate Art that’s not only a bag or an accessorie it’s more about the Art culture behind the inspiration!

What I love about what Marc Jacobs has done for Louis Vuitton is make them  think outside the box. The collaboration with Takashi Murakami, Stephen Sprouse and now Yayoi Kusama is proof of that. Remember the reaction of Lous Vjuitton fans when the Graffiti line came out?  Yes, Louis Vuitton is a classic and iconic brand and because of that this contrast works. No it’s not for everyone but as for me I love it!!
