Three American brothers who have not spoken to each other in a year set off on a train voyage across India with a plan to find themselves and bond with each other — to become brothers again like they used to be. Their “spiritual quest”, however, veers rapidly off-course (due to events involving over-the-counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup, and pepper spray), and they eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle of the desert with eleven suitcases a printer, and a laminating machine. At this moment, a new, unplanned journey suddenly begins.

Some of the most successful Louis Vuitton handbag lines have been the ones in which Takashi Murakami collaborated with Marc Jacobs. The Multicolore line, Cherry Blossom line, Panda, and Cerises were all the works of Japanese pop artist Murakami. The newly released pieces include the re-introduction of the Louis Vuitton ‘Hands’ symbol shown on the front of the monogram canvas Neverfull bag (available in PM, MM, and GM sizes) and Porte Monnaie Ronde. In addition, Murakami has also introduced a new character called ‘Chibi Kinoko’ which means little mushroom. This little mushroom man has been placed on the front of an agenda, which is available in the traditional monogram canvas as well as the black and white Multicolore canvas.

For months Louis Vuitton has been telling its American customers that the www.louisvuitton.com website would be undergoing extensive renovations. Early this week these renovations were revealed. Customers perusing the USA version of the website will now be able to see prices for every single item in the Louis Vuitton catalog. In addition, Louis Vuitton is now offering e-shopping through its website (previously the ONLY authorized online retailer was eLuxury – also owned by LVMH). Perhaps my favorite new feature is that when you purchase through the website you can also order heat stamping (your initials stamped into your bag or luggage tag in a variety of different fonts and colors). I am so thrilled with these new changes, and have spent the last day clicking away and updating my Christmas wishlist with prices and website links to help direct the PHH (purse hating husband)!

Tuesdays with Twiggers: Just when I think I’m done they lure me back in! This time it is the gorgeous Louis Vuitton XL handbag that has done it.
