Tiffany Lambertson Truex

We have been following the news of Lambertson Truex filing for bankruptcy since it was announced early March. And on Friday it was announced that Tiffany & Co. bought bankrupt Lambertson Truex and hired the designers, Richard Lambertson and John Truex. Tiffany plans to expand their leather goods department and feels Lambertson Truex and the design duo will be a good fit.

We have been fans of Lambertson Truex for years. We were sad to hear that the economy affected them, but are looking forward to see what is to come in the future. We will keep you posted on any updates in the weeks and months to come.

Yay! Too bad other companies can’t follow Tiffany’s example.

do i see incentive for a massive price hike at LT. this is a great move on tiffany’s part.

Thank God. I’ve purchased an L.T. bag recently (thank you to PurseBlog for a tip on a private sale). Scored one for $400 (original price $1,560). And now they are bought by yet another great firm I love. :)

I have ONLY Lambertson Truex bags. Not easy in Washington DC. though i have found some at Handbags in the city in Baltimore. The Company is the best kind of fashion and the two designers, John Truex and Richard Lambertson have impeccable style. I hope tiffany’s pays them a fortune to stay and run the show! keep going guys!!!!!

I just bought a Lambertson Truex all python bag at a greatly reduced cost because of their bankruptcy. But, it was made in China, not Italy. Perhaps they will go back to having their items made in Italy with Tiffany.
