Hermes Birkin in Croc Porosus Lisse

In the race for Forbes’ Most Extravagant Handbags, it comes to be no surprise that Hermes takes the cake. The Hermes Birkin in Croc Porosus Lisse is no boring ‘ole standard issue 35cm Birkin, but made on special order only. The limited bag is set with over 10 carats of shiny diamonds, and with a price tag of nearly $150,000 I am quite confident that the number of orders on this beauty are quite limited as well.

Many thanks to Hitha Prabhakar, Megs was very excited to be interviewed by Forbes for the article! Read the full story here.

    Hi there,

I am just wondering do you know what the cute kelly bag that have a smiley face called? I remember it was designed by one of the members of Hermes family. It’s really lovely! Do you have the picture of that bag?

    Thanks! :P

Dear Friends, I have a question…Does anyone know WHEN Hermes began to mark their Kelly Crocodile and Alligator bags with the little SQUARE, located near the latch or under the closeure strap?? I took my vintage Kelly bag (20 years old in perfect coniditon, Black Croc 33cm) to the Hermes store in Monaco and they told me I should to send it to Paris to get authenticated because it did NOT have that mark. I know it is vintage but am now worried…Thanks for your help. Maggie
