Bird Handbags made their way into the Purse Blog pages a year and a half ago. Being the casual chic that I am, I obsessed over their hippie-chic vibe and loose shoulder bags that were designed with exotic skins. The pairing of casual and exotic is precisely what I would designer if I were a handbag designer. Very cool, very boho, very me. I am the proud owner of the Lady in ostrich, which is the IDEAL travel companion. The Lady folds away into smallness and this is precisely why I love traveling with it. The oversized Bird Handbags One Night Stand Clutch was my next favorite from the designer and now different versions of the clutch are being carried at Net A Porter.

From the exotic ostrich, to the plain leather, to the eclectic Guatemalan fabric print, the oversized clutches offer an array of designs to suit your liking. Rachel Bilson was spotted months back with the fabric print version, a design that surely suits her style. The ostrich version is already sold out on NAP. I can vouch that the ostrich camel color from Bird Handbags is delightful, a color that matches all outfits. The white leather version is a clean and sharp look in a funky sized clutch. All-in-all, I love this clutch. Always have, always will. And I even find myself drawn to the print version of this clutch, which is crazy yet somehow, on some level, totally cool. Fabric version for $955, ostrich version for $1240, and leather version for $750; all via Net A Porter.

I like it in the leathers, but I’m not digging the fabric one. It reminds me too much of my 4th grade teacher’s sweaters

I am 47 and I remember this style clutch when I was a teenager. I had one just like this style. It is amazing how things come back in style 30 years later.

Let's be best friends.
