It has recently come to my attention that I can no longer view a product objectively once it’s been endorsed by someone from Game of Thrones; such is the case with a brand new bag style from Coach. I want to say I love it, but I’m self-aware enough to know that other nefarious forces are at work. It’s also recently come to my attention that not a single designer has done a GOT-themed capsule collection or even a GOT-inspired runway show. This is a fashion crime that needs to be rectified. Three words, designers: dragon’s egg clutch.
Amanda Seyfried
Givenchy Floral Mini Pandora Bag
$1,540 via Barneys
Here’s Amanda Seyfried, leaving breakfast at The Grey Dog in Soho with a mini from her favorite brand, Givenchy. This Pandora Mini really only looks tangentially related to the regular Pandora, but I like it anyway.
Ashanti
Chanel Boy Bag
Here’s Ashanti, making the press rounds to promote The Partnership for a Healthier America’s “Drink Up” water campaign with a gorgeous Chanel Boy Bag. That’s right, Ashanti is the face of water.
Christie Brinkley
Chloé Hudson Tassel Bag
$2,150 via Neiman Marcus
Christie Brinkley is also doing the publicity dance this week to promote her book Timeless Beauty. Here she is leaving an apperance on Sirius XM with a tasseled mini bag from Chloé. Tassels and minis were both featured prominently in Chloé’s Spring 2016 collection.
Demi Lovato
Chanel Heart Top Handle Bag
Demi Lovato was recently spotted carrying an adorable Chanel Heart Top Handle Bag as she left Capital FM Studios in London. Why don’t we see this Chanel style more often? Is it only bestowed upon the most truly deserving of female pop stars?
Jessica Simpson
Fendi Calf Hair Peekaboo Bag
$7,250 via Saks
Jessica Simpson seems to really be feeling this Fendi as she leaves her NYC hotel. She’s become quite partial to these kind of multicolored bags as of late; one of her other most recent handbag acquisitions was a striped Valentino My Rockstud Tote, which you can see here along with the seven other bags she brought on her last trip to NYC.
Naomi Watts
Gucci Soho Disco Bag
$980 via Gucci
I’ve always loved the Gucci Soho Disco Bag’s low-key, laid-back, high-end style, and it looks right at home on the arm of Naomi Watts, the most low-key and laid-back of resident NYC celebs.
Natalie Dormer
Coach Ace Satchel
$595 via Coach
Hunger Games and Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer was recently snapped signing autographs outside of BBC Radio 1 studios while carrying a beautiful burgundy Coach Ace Satchel, which is a brand new offering from Coach’s Fall 2015 collection.
Sienna Miller
Givenchy Nightingale Bag
$2,450 via Saks
Finally, here’s Sienna Miller, out for a stroll in Soho with a lovely black leather Givenchy Nightingale. Sienna isn’t having it with the paps this week, but she still manages to shame us all with her mastery of casual street style. Kudos, Sienna.
