No matter where I go in New York or who I talk to, once people find out what I do for a living, almost all of them ask me if I know where they can get a Celine bag, what I think of the Celine bag they want to buy and if I have a Celine bag myself. As we’ve noted over on BagThatStyle, it seems like a new celebrity pops up carrying one every day, and judging by the long pre-order lists in stores, none of the Celine hysteria is going to abate anytime soon.

Even stock photos of Celine bags can be difficult to round up in one place; stores don’t sell the brand on their websites, so product names and prices are often rumors at best. What we have here, though, is the best collection of Celine Spring and Summer 2012 (Celine splits the season into two separate groups of products) bags that we could find.     I recently spent a week in  Amsterdam. And in the lovely departmentstore, Bijenkorf, they had a nice selection of Celine´s spring/summer collection bags. I bought a Celine luggage tote in dark navy; it´s just stunning! And during the week i was there, I visited Bijenkorf every day. And on my last day, they got a new delivery of these gorgeous bags. So for someone who is desperate to get their hands on one of these beauties, Bijenkorf is the place; they have a beautiful display!

    26 (Cobalt) and 29 (Croc) are to die for!!! Also, love 56 (Grey/Black). I might have to add to my Celine collection. These are gorgeous.

    Photo #1 is one sexy piece of dead Crocodile, but overall I don’t understand the hoopla surrounding Celine. Are they the new Hermes, as both seem to be equally as boring as tombstones. There is no doubt in the quality of the bags’ construction and leather, but they could put a little more ‘design’ into each model instead of producing variations of boxes with extended side flaps and nothing else. And where is the Spring/Summer colour? Overall, I am very disappointed. Ever since the Neon Micro and Mini Luggage sold out I have never again seen a happy Celine. But I have to admit, I’m still salivating for the Cobalt Blue though!

    I am on the fence with Celine….not sure if I want one or not.  My fav is the Luggage Tote, but I just keep seeing a face with its tongue sticking out.

      My fiance’s response to this bag is very similar to yours– it looks like a sad face with its tongue sticking out. Now when I look at this lovely bag this image comes to mind.

    I was in Saks in Atlanta yesterday, and they had quite a few Celine bags.  They even had the pretty red one that Megs has.

    Last year I posted that I couldn’t see beyond the face staring at me on the luggage tote.  But it’s slowly grown on me, and now it’s my current obsession.  The color and material combos are awesome!

    I can’t help it, every time I look at a Celine luggage tote, I see a face. Especially when the color is contrasted. Is that part of the appeal?

    Sigh. Gorgeous. I live in Paris and finally treated myself to all black leather Luggage Tote last August as a birthday treat to myself. I have since seen the same back in other colors, a lovely tangering and cobalt blue that I’m lusting after. And I’m thinking to myself, isn’t it totally crazy of me to want the exact same bag in another color? Amanda and co @ Purseblog, I have y’all to thank for this crazy Celine obssession of mine!
