Bottega Veneta Veneta Bag
When most people think of Bottega Veneta and the signature bag, they think of the Veneta. And when those people are thinking about the signature style, they think of the intrecciato woven leather. These are both aspects of Bottega Veneta that define the brand. Bottega Veneta bags are not cheap either. In fact, you can not even find an ‘affordable’ bag in their store, and when you think you have, you are actually just fooling yourself into believing you have. The truth is, you pay for what you get. You are getting a luxury design house and a luxurious leather bag. The leather used on their bags is absolutely divine. The detail is on point. Even many employees of Hermes consider Bottega one of the only other brands in their league. If you have seen and touched a Hermes bag and a Bottega Veneta bag in person, you will know why. These are reasons that I have fallen for the brand. I adore their styles, the simplicity, the elegance, the timelessness. And for the perfect piece that will never go out of style, look into the Bottega Veneta Veneta Bags. There are various sizes of this style, but the shape is the same. The woven leather bag features a strap across the top and a zip fastening closure. The inside is lined in lush suede and there is a zip pocket. The beauty of these bags and the lush leather is mouth watering. Net A Porter is carrying the extra large version in chocolate for $2,420 and a yellow option for $1850.

I like em too! But always thought they were too expensive. But I think I’ll have to see and touch one IRL soon. They are really timeless…

I have the chocolate one, I waited for the Maxi size, for an easy fit over my shoulder
even with a heavy coat on. The leather is SOOOO soft, the patterned woven leather
so exquisite to see, and to touch. Well worth the years of use, all seasons,
and talk about a safe bag while traveling!
love love love it.

Agreed. Woven bags are BV´s trademark and they master the technique. The more you pay for one of their bags, the better it gets.I ordered a clutch through NAP several months ago and the feel of it was divine. Then I gave it as a gift for my daughter knowing that she has more events to use it. I´m anxious to see what they come up with next..

I have the Venata in black, and while is is amazingly soft and looks amazing, the shape is very impractical. The Venata does not have a flat bottom - rather the sides of the bad just meet in one center seam. All of my stuff just stacks up on top of the seam and turns into a giant mess. I love the bag but wish I had paid a bit more for one that had more user-friendly shape, like this one: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod45570092&parentId=cat3650751&masterId=cat000226&index=9&cmCat=cat000000cat000141cat000149cat000226cat3650751

The Veneta is one of the alltime classic bag designs, IMO. The leather just gets better with age and drapes to the body. IMO, this is the ultimate hobo bag.
What I would give to tour the BV workshop in Venice!
