After many years of carrying many different bags, I have a routine of what I transfer from bag to bag. My wallet, a pouch, and a card case among other tidbits. Card cases are an easy way to make a fun and funky purchase. I have a fuchsia pink croc case that I adore but I’m always looking for other options. Be&D has both a tiger and leopard studded card case, both of which are the perfect way to add a little accessory zing.

Made with tiger-striped haircalf, the tiger version also has gold studs. On a larger accessory exotic animal print paired with textured hair and studs could easily be gaudy, but on this cute little card case it is the perfect touch. The other option is leopard-print leather with gunmental studs. Again, love this. Love them both. And with gift season knocking at our door, these are great gift options! Buy the tiger version for $68 via ShopBop and Leopard version for $55 via ShopBop.

ohhh I like these! I’ve been looking for the perfect card case, they’re oft so boring or way to tacky for my taste–but these are adorbs!

    Hi Megs,

Would you mind telling me whose “Fuschia Pink Croc Case” you have. I LOVE pink and the exotics of any type for handbags and accessories. Also, could you please recommend a good pouch for moving stuff from bag to bag. Am I assuming correctly in that you use your pouch to do this? I have one but it has too many inserts, zips, pockets, etc. and feels like a purse in a purse so I’m not really getting to use my real handbags’s inserts, zips, etc. … if this makes any sense.

    Love your articles

    Thanks for any info

      Linda –

I have a pink croc case from Lambertson Truex (a company that went bankrupt). I adore it – it is sturdy and has been great!

I just got a new pouch from Kooba. Abbe Held, designer of Kooba, uses it herself and gave me one to try! I just put some lipgloss, snacks, hand sanitizer, tissues in there so I can easily transfer from bag to bag.

I’m going to try to look for some other card cases to write about!

        Megs,

Thanks for the reply!!! Too bad LT went bankrupt- I did a somewhat extensive search for the pink case anyway but unfortunately came up with nothing so hopefully you’ll have some good reviews if you do your card case piece. I also REALLY wanted the cute Kooba pouch in the pic from the “Meet Kooba’s Alex Held” (11/08 article) and the Kooba Python Dale featured in another article, but couldn’t find those either …. oh well, day late, dollar short-ARGHH!!!!!

        Thanks again
        Linda

Eh…the studs, the animal print and the frayed ends all work together to make this one unappealing purchase in my opinion.

The faceted gold studs remind me of a Rebecca Minkoff bag, (certainly different quality though).
I like these little card cases. Fun !
