Fashion Week Must Have Bag: Be&D Genesis

Fashion Week in New York is coming to a close and one of my favorite aspects of it is to see who is going to which show and wearing what. The Fashion Week bag of choice for Olivia Palermo, Mena Suvari, and Bryan Boy has been the Be&D Genesis from the Summer 2010 line.
Not only do we love the bag, but we love the varied trio spotted carrying it. Olivia Palermo sports a croc-embossed cream version while mixing up her wardrobe with prints. Then we have the sassy Mena Suvari who opts for a leopard Genesis which looks electric next to her bronzed outfit. And how can we neglect Fashion Week superstar Bryan Boy? Bryan Boy has been a friend and fan of PurseBlog for quite sometime and we are fans 
back. He has a knack for fashion and putting together outfits that can never be described as boring. He kept his bag plain black while letting his outfit do the talking.
Other celebs are loving the Be&D Genesis as well, including Jessica Stam, Eva Longoria, and Margherita Missoni.

I just arrived home from fashion week in NY last night, and the array of handbags on everyone’s arms was stunning! By far the most popular was the black Birkin with gold hardware. Quite a few PS1s and YSL Roadys on display. Satchels like this one were in abundance. But I didn’t catch anyone with this particular bag. I’d love to see it in person, as it looks huge in the photos. Not sure I like how it gapes open at the top when carried by the handle. Tried to pick up a Mulberry Alexa bag, but the Oak I wanted was all sold out!
Each person chose the perfect version of this bag for their outfit. Great bag, varied customers.

OMG! I got the press release for this too! But I am not going to process it until someone actually give me a bag. BE&D, I hope you are reading this!
Not liking the way that the bag is hanging while they are holding it in their hands. It almost looks like a book bag.
I don’t like that sagging look either.
If you’re going to design a hand-held bag you should probably check that sort of thing!
