Known for his experimental ideology and knack for playing with outlandish proportions, Simon Porte Jacquemus, the man behind Jacquemus, continues to expand on his unique vision. Season after season, the brand’s RTW and accessories are some of fashion’s most-wanted. I’ve had my eyes on some of Jacquemus’ more usable bags for a few seasons now, thanks partly to their undeniable It-factor and unique shapes. One of the brand’s most-coveted silhouettes continues to be revived and redefined each season, and the latest iteration is the one Jacquemus bag that I can’t get out of my head. I don’t need it, but I definitely want it and keep returning to Le Bambimou.

Defined by its cute and cushy shape, this carryall’s tactile nature is the thing that keeps me coming back. I want to cozy up to it, and when I saw it in the chocolate brown color, I really, really, wanted to grab it and give it a good smoosh. Sometimes we obsess over the littlest things without a specific reason, and that’s how I feel about this bag. My pull towards it reminds me of being a teen and listening to the same Britney Spears song repeatedly. I just keep coming back to it.
The Le Bambimou has that street style aesthetic that can be dressed up or dressed down, with that added “if you know, you know” factor.
