Christian Dior is one of the handbag world’s shining stars. The designer opened his first couture house in October of 1946 with one goal in mind: to help women rediscover the joy and elegance in dressing well. Since its inception the Dior brand has been that for so many, celebrities included. And one of the brand’s most iconic bags of all time, The Lady Dior has been a favorite for stars since it was first seen on the arm of Diana Princess of Wales in 1995. At the time this Dior bag did not have a name, but because of this historic moment in handbag history, it received the perfect one: the Lady Dior. Since the bag was born it has become, and remains, a beloved choice of everyday handbag lovers and celebs alike. It can be dressed up or down, and ties together any look. Today we’re taking a look back at some of the stars who’ve carried this Dior classic in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Let’s go back!

I would love to see Purseblog commemorate the late Princess Diana’s 60th birthday with a Many Bags of Princess Diana tribute. Her style was sumptuous and she had some amazing bags.

Nicky Hilton in #6 is the best outfit ever!!! Also the Lady Dior did have a name prior to Princess Diana, it was affectionately called the Chow Chow which means cabbage.

“Chow Chow” is the name of a dog breed. Cabbage in french is “Chou”.

Great day for this post as I just switched to my matte navy Lady Dior this morning. Can’t believe I almost forgot how beautiful these Dior bags are during quarantine.

I love my Lady Dior’s; they’re beautiful & elegant. However, the resale is ridiculous low.

Amber last month I collected $19562 simply by working on PC just from-home in my free-time..(o553) I’ve figured out to do it by spending few hours in whole day consistently-computer…(o553) Of-course it is legitimate job and any-one definitely can get this as well.

I really like seeing the Lady Dior styled casually. It’s a very feminine, ladylike aesthetic. It looks perfect with what Dita is wearing and just as perfect on Emmy.

I’m inspired to use my Lady Dior this weekend! Anyone else find the jangly dior charm annoying? Mine is really noisy.

Yes the noise is annoying and the flap makes it hard to get things in and out. That said I have 2 of them and I love them. The matte black is the best!

No. I love it. It is one of the reasons I fell in love with the bag.
