The windup to the holidays is in full swing, Roundup readers, so how are you holding up? This week, we dropped into Dior and Mulberry and considered the ups and downs of the holidays in the Health and Fitness subform.
A reveal from Monte Carlo is a great way to grab our attention. It definitely worked like a charm, and charm is what Svetli’s thread in Dior had plenty of. Her beautifully photographed reveal was quite a hit, and to see what is in the box, you will have to pay her a visit – it will be well worth the trip, we promise.
Missyb is setting off on holiday and picked up a terrific find in this this sunny, original-style Panaera Tote. Many prefer the old style to the new, and this is a great score. Ashiraya shared a lovely reveal with us as well; you will definitely want to see here pretty new Lady Dior right here.
It’s always nice to see what our lovely Mulberry ladies are up to. It’s been a while since we visited Mulberry, and we got there just in time to see a pretty raspberry Bayswater from Fluffybee. Aerinha also got a new bag, this time a small Del Rey Satchel, or DRS to her friends. We absolutely loved this pair of Tessies that Ser shared–that tote looks delicious, doesn’t it? If you are a fan of this brand, be sure to visit the Mulberry Family thread to see our members collections.
We thought we’d round out the Roundup with some quick reveals and bag shots from around the PurseForum. We found this scrumptious dark geranium Kate Spade Leslie from LolaCalifornia in the Which Kate Spade Are You Carrying Today thread, which is a great showcase for this designer.
In Valentino, mga13 brought down the house with her October Reveals–we stopped by again and spotted this fabulous pairing of a bag and shoes. Valentino has been pretty quiet lately, but it’s always nice to revisit some of these spectacular reveal threads.
The holidays can mean stress for a lot of us. Fortunately, right in the nick of time, the Health and Fitness Forum’s What do You Do to Relieve Stress thread is back on page one. The holidays also mean plenty of eating opportunities, and holiday fare is notoriously hard on the waistline. Our Health and Fitness subforum is a great place to get healthy tips along with advice and support.
The 2014 Fitness Support thread is wrapping and filled with helpful suggestions that have worked for our members. There will be a 2015 thread at the start of the new year, and all are welcome! And if you are feeling guilty about your last indulgence, feel free to unburden yourself in the Guilty Pleasures thread, where you may even feel a little bit better about your choice, because trust us, our members REALLY know how to indulge (Exhibit A: Mousse’s peanut butter pie from the I Ate This thread!)
Thank you for joining us. We hope that those of you celebrating Thanksgiving have a wonderful celebration with friends and family. And our thoughts are with those suffering through some seriously frightening weather. We hope the rest of winter will be easier to bear, and hope you will find some diversion and delights here. Thank you for stopping by, have a great weekend!
