It’s likely that by now that you either own a Polène bag or at least you’re familiar with the cult-favorite Parisian bag brand we also cannot get enough of.
Just in case, here’s a quick refresher on our love affair with Polène:
Back to Where It All Began
In 2018, we highlighted Polène as one of our 11 best emerging bag brands to watch. Having just recently discovered Polène, we only had looks to go off of, but the brand’s dreamy leathers and unique shapes were enough to pique our interest. Since then, we’ve worked closely with the brand as they’ve grown, introducing new silhouettes (and categories) and gaining a cult-like following along the way. Earning its place thanks to its impeccable quality, clean designs, and contemporary price point, Polène stays true to its original vision, and its brand DNA is inherent in each new product that’s introduced. The latest bag from the brand is a true testament to that, combining unmatched contemporary quality with unique lines and a sculptural shape.
Polène’s Latest
This summer, Polène introduces the Nodde bag. It possesses a sense of balance and is designed to be worn on the shoulder or crossbody. Its compact shape hugs tight to the body. The Nodde bag is defined by its intertwined leather strips, which sit symmetrically in perfect harmony, all finished with Polène’s meticulous stitching and attention to detail. It’s that attention to leather craft that is incredibly apparent in the design of the Nodde, with each detail carefully constructed in Ubrique, Spain, by brand artisans.
Each Polène bag, including the Nodde, is crafted from Italian leather sourced from certified European tanneries. The Nodde uses full-grain smooth calf leather and arrives in seven mostly neutral colors, with the addition of a yellowy oat leather and light olive green. Finished with a zippered top, the strap of the Nodde is adjustable, and the overall dimensions are 8.3″ x 6.5″ x 2.8″ D.
Currently available for pre-order, shipping 7/26, the Polène Nodde retails for $500. Discover more and pre-order now via Polène.
$500 is such a great price for this bag. I am done spending over $3000 for bags that are not as well designed or as well made. Thank you for posting about this darling bag.
that is a “sane” price. The euro price is 380 euros. Not bad at all, esp for a bag made in Europe. Getting back to the question of seeing the closure, if you do the 360 view, you get a better look at the closure. BTW, no matter which color you’re interested in, when you click on the 360 view, you see the cognac version.
It looks really nice. It reminds me of something that could be from the golden days of Lancel and it also seems to have a Hermès-esque feel. A good alternative to low-key luxury.
I totally agree. It looks really lovely, and the quality of Polene is always impressive with each bag I’ve gotten- excited to see this one in person!
I. Love. This. I love everything about it except that there is no picture of the closure/ top/ interior. But every color is great especially the green.
It has a zipper top to close the bag. No interior pocket though (as least none noted in the description). You can see the top zipper closure in one photo when you view the Taupe color bag, at least on the French site. https://www.polene-paris.com/products/nodde-taupe-lisse
Agreed, it’s stunning. But, would love additional photos. 🙂
In love with the black one with contrast stitching
This is really nice… feels like an innovative, fresh design too!
This design naturally lends itself to a bicolor version.
I’m going to order either the cognac or black (with the contrast stitching). Won’t be surprised if they miss the listed shipping date for pre-orders (September 6 and July 26, respectively, for my location). Given how quickly they run out of stock, I will probably pre-order this week. I prefer to buy in-store only, but remembering the Numero Deux stocking issues, figure it’s better to buy sooner than later. As it happens, three of my four Polene bags are no longer available. The Numero Un (large size) in navy, Numero Deux (discontinued in all colors/materials) and Numero Six (also discontinued).
Saw this bag at the Polene store in Paris last week before I’d seen it online. My brain went “Hello! Who are you?”. The cognac with contrast stitching is amazing!
Is it available to purchase at the Polene store in Paris now? Or just display? I am going to be in Paris in two weeks.
I saw someone buy the cognac one. I would say though, they were low on stock for many bags with very limited colors available.
Perhaps I need to be there first thing in the morning? Thank you for your response.
Done! Pre-ordered both the cognac and black with contrast stitching bags. Thanks PB for the head’s up 🙂
Oh, and @Megs, if you have time, could you answer my questions posted in the comments section of your new Gucci shoulder bag review?
That cognac!! OhMyGosh I couldn’t resist! It’ll be a great Fall bag! 👜🌻🍁 The fact that it can be worn crossbody sealed the deal for me!! We’ll all have to compare notes when we start receiving our Noodles!
I would love to see an interior shot of the bag. Also, I know I have to wait until people receive it, but I’d love to see how much it fits. I’ve bought some beautiful bags online that end up being way too small in real life.
Pre-order complete. My god I love the cognac
I saw a review on tiktok. I want to know the capacity
Is it much cheaper buying from polene Paris or not much difference online? Thinking whether I should buy now or wait for nov Europe trip… Thank you
My first Nodde arrived! Posted a thread with unboxing, comparison photos and first impressions in the TPF handbags forums.
I’m a firm believer in the power of simplicity, and Simple Fast Funnels embodies that philosophy perfectly. The speed at which I can create, launch, and see results with their funnels is impressive. It’s the kind of service that makes you wonder how you managed without it. Highly recommended for anyone serious about online marketing.
