Don’t get me wrong, I still love Proenza Schouler, but I’ve been waiting for something that stands out a bit more than the usual. Yes, I want to continue adding Proenza bags to my collection, but I haven’t seen one in a while that got my credit card hand twitching. A variety of colors in the classic designs continue to be released, but it wasn’t until I saw the ombre effect on these bags that I started to feel the buying urge.
Remember when ombre took over the accessories market? That may have been a few seasons ago, but the boys at Proenza are bringing it back in their cult classic PS11 as well as their Large Bag Clutch. If you don’t like ombre, I apologize, but I must tell you many designers will have it on their upcoming bags and accessories. Some brands do it in an overly forceful way while others have the ability to find a subtle way to implement it that doesn’t push too hard. Proenza Schouler opted for a blue and green ombre on the PS11 and the same on the bag clutch, along with blue silicone studs. I know what I think, but now I turn to you to see what you think: love it or leave it?

Love it on the clutch, take it or leave it on the bag.
I have consistently been a huge critic of PS bags and certainly don’t own one, but I have to admit that the clutch has caught my eye (and I don’t even like blue!). Seems like it is only available for pre-order everywhere, with delivery not expected until August-September timeframe. What a shame, it screams summer bag to me…
That clutch would make a nice, albeit expensive, pot holder.
Love the clutch ! It’s edgy and yet refined in its structure, which make it perfect as a day and night clutch as well.

I absolutely love this! I think it looks incredible on both, but ESPECIALLY on the PS11.
