Luxe and minimal, discreet carryalls continue to be one of the biggest trends in the handbag world. The truth is, when a bag is simple, lacking any over-the-top design elements or bold, in-your-face logos, it leaves room for quality and craft to shine through.

That is exactly what Louis Vuitton was aiming for when it dropped the Low Key Collection last spring.

Louis Vuitton’s answer to the quiet luxury movement, the collection exemplified the brand’s quality and heritage craftsmanship. With the focus on clean lines and sleek designs, the impeccable construction and effortlessly slouchy appeal of the silhouettes were what stood out.

The Low Key Collection is the epitome of understated luxury, and fans quickly embraced it. With its minimal branding and soft, grained leather designed to patina over time, it consists of core classics meant to remain in your closet for years to come. This spring, the line-up expands with the addition of a roomy new carryall.

Joining the Low Key family this season, the Low Key Cookie MM is a minimal take on the ever-popular slouchy, rounded shoulder bag silhouette that has been ruling the handbag world for seasons. While it offers that moon bag look so many of us love, it is also designed with function in mind, and its roomy interior allows for multiple carrying options.

Understated yet undeniably elegant, the Cookie MM is crafted from the same soft calfskin and is defined by its aged gold-toned hardware and signature padlock. Overall dimensions are 12.6″ L x 10.2″ H x 2″ D, and inside the bag, you’ll find a calf leather lining and a removable Monogram pouch for maximum organization. This functional carryall is big enough to hold a long wallet, an iPhone, a tablet, and more. The price is $3,500.

China 30 bucks

Tina

China steals all the designs and makes cheap.knockoffs They should be sued for breaking copyright laws in production of someone else’s design

Chen

Lol
They can not sue them. Wake up 🆙

Tasha

But it’s OK for them to use China to make them ands pay $50 and turn around and add $4000 to the price to sell to others I promise you China knockoffs are cheap but great quality bags I mean they got to be if they’re making 80% of most bags

Kay

Yes I refuse to pay these ridiculous prices for these designer bags! Thank goodness for China!

Olivia Penzey

I don’t love the lock being on the strap. I realize it’s functional, but it looks a bit strange. The leather is nice, though.

Passerine

Nice bags, but nothing particularly elegant or striking about them. There are similar bags readily available.

But…on the topic of new luxe bags, when is PB going to do a column about the gorgeous new Marlene bag from Dolce & Gabbana? The larger size is a perfect day to night bag but there is also a beautiful dressy evening version available.

Bryn

These look like Celine knockoffs

Chin

LV has dropped another bag meanwhile LVMH share has lost 9 billions 😂

El Logan

I like the understated bag. I’m looking to gift a bag to a college graduation that stands the test of time. Any suggestions.

Sandra
