Now out of its infancy, minimalist handbag brand Savette has established itself as a go-to for those looking for luxury bags with a quiet appeal. Founded on the principles of sophistication, minimalism, and impeccable quality, Savette has cemented its place in the handbag world.
In its four-year lifespan, under the watchful eye of founder Amy Zurek, Savette has done what few newbies can achieve. It broke into the competitive world of bags and made a name for itself despite an incredibly tumultuous time for both the world as a whole and the luxury goods industry.
Quickly adopting the idea that less is more, Savette continues to focus on designs that speak for themselves, utilizing clean lines and small but notable details versus overt logos or branding. Back in 2021, Zurek told us:
“As a consumer, I was looking for a bag that was minimal and sophisticated, but not anonymous and plain. It needed to have a distinctly recognizable, covetable element that wasn’t a garish logo.”
Savette’s bags continue to echo that sentiment, and the latest addition to the brand’s lineup perfectly embodies Zurek’s vision and Savette’s ethos. While the Savette Symmetry Pouch keeps us coming back, the newest additions to the label are worthy of introduction, too.
Introducing the Savette Florence
Introduced just in time for Fall 2024, the Savette Florence Collection includes a stunning top handle available in two sizes (20 and 25)—the epitome of ladylike chic—and a smaller shoulder bag. Both shapes are simple and clean, featuring both angular and curved lines. The simplicity of the silhouette allows the bag’s craftsmanship to shine.
Speaking of craftsmanship, the bag takes its name from the city of Florence, Italy, known for its history in leathercraft. The Florence is designed to ooze the timeless craft of its namesake city with a modern spin inspired by New York, the label’s home city.
Incredibly sleek, the Florence makes a bold statement without being in your face with its branding. Instead, it is defined by the small metal accent at the top of the bag. The structured shape of the Florence doesn’t offer much give, but inside, you’ll find two compartments and a tab closure. Each size is large enough to hold a smartphone and other small items.
The addition of the Florence family marks a new chapter for the label, once again proving the power of timeless minimalism. Discover more via Savette.

Thank you for featuring this brand! I really love the brand’s aesthetic. My only issue is that I feel they lack certain types of bags that would work well for me, like a bigger tote for example. I also wish they had more bags with secure closing.
I like both sizes. Haven’t been drawn to a bag in a while until now.
