If you live in New York or happen to be visiting, we don’t need to tell you that New York Fashion Week kicked off with a bang on Friday. Ten-minute Uber rides are turning into 30-minute rides that cost $50, SoHo is overrun with influencers, and every downtown hotspot has become a haven for the fashion set looking to let loose post-show.
We were back on the streets this weekend to see what the first few days of shows had in store, and this batch of bags offers a little bit of everything. Classics from Louis Vuitton and Hermès gave way to street-style staples like the Puppets and Puppets Banana Bag and vintage Miu Miu.
Meanwhile, Alaïa’s buzzy New York show brought out an array of stars and offered up our first fashion week sighting of its cult-favorite Le Teckel bag and Coach’s Brooklyn Bag. While there were some pops of color (primarily shades of red), overall, the bags were more neutral. More below!

That Le Teckel bag is transporting me to my high school days in band carrying my flute case 🫨
Fellow flute player here and I am cracking up, it looks exactly the same I think I still have one in the attic 😂
Never played the flute but this is still making me laugh really hard!
Love seeing the eclectic outfits!!
That Ferragamo Hug Crossbody is styled perfectly! I love how she’s carrying it as a clutch.
Love that first Prada bag with the charm! So cute
That Loewe vintage is a model from the early 2000s.
