I’ve always loved having a great coffee table book in my home. At one point, Vlad went through a phase where he bought so many that we literally ran out of tables and places to put them. Eventually, I edited down the collection, keeping only the books I truly enjoy flipping through.
These books also look beautiful displayed around the house. I rotate them in and out, always keeping an eye out for a new addition. This time, the newest one is extra special: a chic pink book from FASHIONPHILE and Assouline, The Book of Iconic Bags.
Obviously, I had to have it, and even better, the book features photos our team took! Kaitlin’s hand even makes a cameo (she’s very proud), and we’re here to share it with you so you can feel like you’re part of the moment with us.

Last night, FASHIONPHILE hosted a launch party for the book in New York City, which Kaitlin and her now-famous hand attended. And this morning, my own copy landed on my doorstep here in South Florida, ready to take its place on my coffee table. It’s the perfect book to leave out for friends who share the same love of bags. Plus, I get the casual brag of, “Oh, our photos are in there.”

The Book of Iconic Bags does exactly what its title promises—it celebrates the handbags that paved the way for all others, the ones that truly earned their place in fashion history. It feels fitting that FASHIONPHILE, a brand that’s reshaped how we shop for bags, would partner on a book of this scale and significance. It gives context—with words and images—to a world I completely and totally love.

Created in collaboration with Assouline, the ultimate name in luxury publishing, the book highlights twenty-five handbags that have achieved timeless, iconic status. Each chapter pairs archival imagery with modern-day photography and is enriched by FASHIONPHILE’s insights into each bag’s story, cultural relevance, and enduring appeal.
This is more than just a book: it’s an anthology for fashion lovers, bag lovers, and, of course, book lovers alike. Get your copy of The Book of Iconic Bags, $120 via FASHIONPHILE.
