When I think of the month of January, very few things are exciting. It’s cold and dreary in most parts of the US, and many of us are dragging our feet through dry January and hitting the ground running on our New Year’s resolutions. As for shopping? It’s nearly impossible to even think about buying for spring and summer yet, even though new products that are primed for the warm weather are hitting stores.
Today we’ve got a bit of good news and a bit of bad news, but let’s start with the good. A brand new Chanel collection has just dropped. Chanel Pre-Collection Spring 2023 is sure to delight. There are a slew of fun new bags to oo and ah over, and if you’re a color queen, you will love this collection. There is plenty of pink, color-blocking, magical iridescent hues, mini bags, and more. This is just what we need to remind us that warmer weather will indeed come our way once again.
Now for the bad news…
A Looming Price Increase
As of this morning, Chanel began to remove prices from its website, putting in their place “price upon request.” In fact, prices were being removed from the website as we were going through and putting together this post. This often means one thing: a price increase is looming, and the rumor mill is swirling that the first increase of 2023 is around the corner. Have you heard anything?

I actually love all of them! Maybe not as “timeless” as their other bags, but the colors are so fun.
I like the charms on the chains, and I like the teal color, but the rest of these are so ugly. The logo placement and coloring is so bad.

I used to have a fake Chanel of which the texture look exactly like the green mini flap bag except that’s red.
I only like the green mini flap and the pink mini backpack (in a different colorway maybe in beige or in black silver hardware). Never pink.
Fun colours but a fair few of themlook a bit cheap and plastic to me. Almost like bags children would play dress ups with. A couple of exceptions but mostly it’s a no from me.
