We’re all just a product of our environment, and Jessica Simpson is from Texas, where everything is (reportedly) bigger. Jessica certainly prefers bags of a certain size, even as mini and micro bags remain one of the market’s biggest trends. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Jessica Simpson carry a mini bag of any make, and if I did, it would actually be pretty jarring. Jessica usually goes for the biggest size available in any particular style, despite having a security detail that would happily carry all of her valuables if required.
All that being said, I took a long look at The Many Bags of Jessica Simpson from way back in 2012, and she’s actually reined in her penchant for oversized bags ever so slightly. Her giant designer handbag picks are now perhaps 15% less giant than the gargantuan totes she favored 3 or 4 years ago. Progress?
