The Fendi Peekaboo Bag has had a somewhat unusual trajectory. After its debut in 2009, it experienced the normal rise and fall of popularity that almost all bags have. Afterward, though, it did something that few bags every do–it came back on a couple years after its initial peak. Some time circa 2014, the bag had a quick renaissance, and now it’s again one of Fendi’s most popular models.

I love this bag but the photography sometimes has me a little confused- is it meant to be carried with the front pulled down a little so you can see the lining?
It can be carried either way–closed up or open to expose the lining, if it’s contrasting/embellished/etc.

I love Peekaboo and am looking for the right color in Regular. None of the current colors work for me, the Minis have better color options. However, not much fits into these bags compared with similar sized bags.

So I noticed in the leather options that is calf and lamb, but I don’t know what the difference is! Can you please do a post on the different types of leathers (calf, lamb & goat) from durability to wear, etc. It would be really helpful, esp when shopping online and you see diff leather options available. I can vaguely see the diff between pebbled and saffiano because it easier to see visually (if that makes sense). Thanks!

I just purchased the regular sized peekaboo in black. I have quite a few luxury handbags and I can honestly say that this Fendi Peekaboo is the nicest and most classic looking piece. It has quickly become my favorite handbag. Totally worth every penny.
I just can’t get into this shape — too similar to what my mom used to carry in the 60’s. The black one looks like something a church lady uses to carry a bible, and occasionally whack a youngster on the head with, like when he wears his pants too low.
I just received my new monster Peekaboo from Neiman’s. It’s my first one and I’m a little disappointed by how difficult it actually is to see the “peekaboo” section. The leather is too stiff to naturally have the drape that is always shown in this style. Do most people unhook the sides so it just hangs down?
How is it looking now…with more wear (and softening of the leather) can you see the eyes better?
