Matthieu Blazy’s Summer 2024 collection combines influences from all over the world, spanning distance and time. The collection embraces both a physical and a personal journey, one that sees a renewed interest in the joy and wonder that comes from the art of getting dressed.
While Blazy’s prior collections were an ode to Italy, this collection marks the start of a new chapter, building upon those collections and using both natural and humanmade global references for inspiration. This shines through in the incredible details of the collection.
From tailoring inspired by the comings and goings of the humble commuter to pom-poms and fringes, the details and the bold colors used make this collection a true work of art.
New campaign images capture pieces from the Summer 2024 collection, including a stunning array of bags. There are new iterations of existing shapes and debut silhouettes to fawn over (more on those coming soon!).
Lensed by photographer Alec Soth, a fun, playful air of imagination shines through in the images.
“An Odyssey: a journey that is both free and hopeful. Playgrounds are spaces of freedom, joy, experimentation, and discovery. They’re places where you can invent your own adventures, take risks, experience yourself in different ways.” – Matthieu Blazy.

The comment sections on some of these posts do get a bit ridiculous. It’s okay for people to like different things, to have different needs, to buy different sized bags, to look dated or trendy or young or old or fashionable or not fashionable – there’s no “right” or “wrong” way to approach a handbag choice since it is something that is inherently personal. Let’s all just live and let live! Life is hard enough.
Exactly!! The constriction/ perceptions you create in your own mind are ridiculous!!
Agree 100%!
I think we’ve all pared down what we carry in our bags because small bags have been popular for several years. The handbag industry taught us to carry less. I used to carry a large wallet but now use a small wallet or card case. I’m not wanting to go back to a bag where I have to dig to find an item in the bottom of a huge bag.
Agree 100% with you, Nancy.
Me too. Too heavy.
Yeah you’re clearly missing the point here Nancy. Just because you’re carrying a large bag decently mean you have to fill it to the brim. It’s just 💯 cooler and overall more chic to be seen with a bigger bag than a mini. Honestly aesthetically they just look dated and childlike at this point, (unless you’re going to a nighttime event). So if you want to look old af and stick on the past keep going with your small bags.
Once again, the Purse Blog’s resident troll blessing us with her presence
oh look at y0u displaying y0ur narcissism and poor tacky taste again….. again. Yawn.
Your insecurities are showing.
lol what an absurdly rude response for no reason. Also believe it or not, it’s possible to like BOTH!
What are you going to say when fashion inevitability goes back to small bags??? Stop telling others what is cool or childlike, please just stop! You sound ridiculous!
Some people have a lot to carry, Nancy.
Some people prefer a smaller bag, Shana. That is why we should purchase bags according to our likes and needs.
Why are you being so aggressive in this comment section, Sandy?
Replied in the same manner that you did, that’s all.
now girls . . . .
some of these looks are so chic
