One of many defining events that gives New York City its Fashion Mecca status is Fashion Week, or in short, NYFW. Each September, designers preview their offerings and visions for Spring and Summer of the coming year.
Twice a year, fashion week takes over New York City as the start of the worldwide fashion month that ensues, and editors, buyers, designers, influencers, and celebrities converge in NYC to attend the shows, parties, and events. Part of the excitement around fashion week for me is seeing the bags people carry along with the outfits, as fashion week is a major event for those who attend.
Kicking off NYFW Spring/Summer ’24
The Spring 2024 shows kicked off a few days ago in NYC and we have our photographer Kyle there to capture the bags people carry to the shows. As always, there is everything from the eclectic to the classic, and everything in between.
We will be sharing the bags that the designers send down the runway, but also the bags we spot outside of the shows, and this kicks off your first look at the best bags we spotted on day one of New York Fashion Week.

Those Loewe heels belong on a shelf as decoration, they look like an absolute nightmare to walk in 😳
I find the cycling shorts trend ugly.
The Loewe called padlock is actually an Amazon 15.
Thank you for the correction.
