Marni Patent Shoulder Bag

Marni Patent Shoulder Bag

Marni Patent Shoulder Bag

Marni has been known for its modern touches and geometric shapes on its bags. I have been a huge fan of Marni in the past, yet I am not sure that this purse is for me. A runway look, the Marni Patent Shoulder Bag is designed with bright green patent leather on its framed body. The top frame is black and there are brown leather handles. The clean lines give a fresh look and a no hassle feel. There is no fuss about this bag, just simplicity with emphasis on a color burst. Is this bag too much at once or the perfect addition of color? This bag is funky, urban chic, and a great burst of color.

I love a Marni bag. I got one from Net-a-Porter a few years bag, and I loved it. They always are pretty dynamic with their use of color! I’m loving patent leather for the summer, and is it just me or aren’t enough bags green!?

Green is definitely the colour for this season. But to me this is not the right combination of colours.

I love this bag and the other day I got to see it on the prettiest Japanese woman. She was a friend of a friend and she toured around Montmartre with us wearing black riding boots, tucked in jeans and a wool blazer. The bag was just the right pop of color, but more than her bag, I couldn’t keep my eyes off her sunglasses which were purple and black large shades. Not wanting to act like a total dork I waited till we said good-bye to ask her the brand of her glasses and yep they were Marni with no apparent logo, just the Marni name on the inside of the glasses. Classy.

I agree Marni produce really intersting bags. I was at the boutique drooling over some of their yummy bags. But, this green one is interesting but I have a feeling going to be in the closet after a couple of use.

I like Marni bags they’re interesting, but this one I don’t like I think it’s HORRIBLE! :???:
To be honest I don’t even really like the shape that much either-it’s not just the colour.

YAWN! The Bag Snob wrote about this bag last week; try not to repeat their posts, darling.

PB resident hater william is at it again, how refreshing.

I am stunned that you do not seem to understand the simple concept of the same product being featured on more than one site in a short period of time. We have plenty of unique material of our own, in case you didn’t notice.

One more comment about this green Marni bag. I’m sure that everybody knows that Marni is mainly a contemporary clothing line. This bag was featured on the runway TO ACCENT the clothes.
Also, I like both bagsnob and purseblog and apparently the two sites work well together because you always publish links to each other’s articles. However, it seems that from time to time a few ungrateful readers try to create animosity by comments such as William’s above.
