Adriana CastroWhat is your favorite thing about Valentines Day? I love to celebrate a day that is filled with love. It is a day that should be about the person you love, not about what you can give or receive. It is a time when people who normally have trouble expressing their feelings may find it a bit easier to communicate. I love to celebrate being in love.

You love LA. What would be one of the best things to do in LA on Valentine’s Day?

Be Inthavong and Steve Dumain

When we first entered the crowded showroom back in November, we did not quite know what to expect. Our previous experiences of meeting new fashion designers had overall been pleasant ones, we did not think that meeting Steve Dumain and Be Inthavong of Be & D would be any different. Still, knowing the smashing success the two have had since 2004, one could not help but be intimidated just a bit.

The co-founders (and brother sister duo) of Ignes divulged some of their Valentine’s Day plans:

Maria: Mmm, we are both not so great cooks, yet chicken cordon bleu and roesti (swiss potatoes) is a favourite of my husband, I must try and remember how it was made.

Linea Pelle Dylan BowlerCreative Director for Linea Pelle, Andrew Cotton, took some time to spread love with Purse Blog and all of our readers! Even better yet, after you enjoy reading Andrew’s answers keep reading to find out about an AMAZING deal going on over at Linea Pelle!

Sang A Your favorite Valentine’s Day memory: My favorite memory is waking up next to my husband on our first Valentine’s Day after our wedding and realizing that I would be able to wake up next to my Valentine every year forward (So excited for you both, Meaghan and Vlad!).

Your favorite Valentine’s Day gift: My favorite gift was when my husband Jamie surprised me with an original song he wrote especially for me.

Ben Harnett Interview

In November of last year, we had the opportunity to sit down with Ben Harnett of Hayden-Harnett. The young entrepreneur managed to impress us with a savvy business sense, he explained how his young company managed to grow from its establishment with his significant other, to being the globally-operating bag and accessory powerhouse it is today. Meaghan and I walked out of the interview quite intrigued, we can expect great things from this brand in the near future.
