If you’ve felt recently that Givenchy‘s bag assortment was getting a bit stale, it’s probably not just you. In spite of the massive favor the brand enjoys among tastemaking celebrities and Instagram starlets, Givenchy’s last couple big debuts–the Horizon Bag and Bow-Cut Bag–haven’t made quite as big a splash as I figured they would.
The great thing about fashion, though, is your next hit might only be a collection away. For Givenchy Pre-Fall 2017, the brand debuts a handful of new styles, including a very pretty and trend-appropriate hobo, as well as new versions of the Horizon, which they are correct not to move away from just yet. Sometimes a good bag needs a little bit of time to build a following, and being impatient doesn’t pay dividends with a product whose potential life cycle is as long as that of a marquee handbag design. Check out all the designs from the lookbook below.

The big dangle disc ring is distracting me away from the bags in the pics, LOL.
Assuming one ends up with bruised knuckles from it flapping about. Its just silly.
I’ll take one of those bags in picture 13. Other than that, everything else is a no.
Will be checking the hobo bag out it person. Looks nice
they have a very “celine” feel to them…
that hobo bag is beautiful…and I’m not even a “hobo bag” type of girl….
I like where this is going:)
givenchy and their ugly bag saga continues LOL
I want the ring in #15
I actually love the look of all these bags. Very beautiful and fresh indeed. The Horizon bag is definitely a bag I’m considering purchasing.
