Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2013 (7)

There’s just something so classy about Salvatore Ferragamo Pre-Spring 2013, and about Ferragamo in general. These bags take on some of the industry’s biggest trends – colorblocking, texture-mixing, brights, mint green – in a way that feels fresh and light, even when most bags with such elements are starting to feel a bit heavy-handed and obvious. That’s no small feat, which is why we thought we’d let you know that the collection can be pre-ordered through June 13 on Moda Operandi. (There are shoes, too, and they’re also pretty great.)

If you’d rather just browse, though, we’ve got the pictures after the jump. (As we are wont to do.) Be forewarned, though – I’d be surprised if you didn’t find at least one piece that will tempt your budget. Not only are there several gorgeous Sophia satchels (including a tiny evening bag version!), but the Arianna tote (colorblocked ivory and yellow leather with snakeskin gussets – swoon) has received Nina Garcia’s personal stamp of approval.

Of course no purse enthusiast’s collection is complete without a glamorous turquoise picnic basket! LOL

That bag looks like a summer camp lanyard project run amok.
