7 Bags That Prove Fendi Is On Top of the Bag Game

We’re all inundated with options in every aspect of our lives, from fashion choices to the cereal aisle at the grocery store. Bag designers are constantly churning out new pieces for us to choose from, and it takes a special bag to pique interests. Sometimes a brand nails one bag and really rests on that design to bring in the eyes and dollars, while other brands are able to offer a group of bags that many love.

Right now Fendi is not only on top of its own bag game, but also the on top of the bag game across all brands. Over the past few years, Fendi has consistently been able to add a new designs that have made a major impact on the designer handbag world. I am seriously trying to figure out which Fendi bag I should get myself right now.

Here are the seven major bags that are making a big impact from Fendi. You wouldn’t go wrong with any of the bags below, and it only makes my personal bag-buying decision more difficult.

Fendi Micro Peekaboo Printed Leather Bag
$1,950 via Nordstrom

I featured the Fendi Micro Peekaboo as bag of the week, and since this bag was released, it’s sold out left and right.

The Peekaboo was already a household design, but when Fendi micro-sized it, the craze went ablaze. Consider this: the bag is incredibly tiny (6″W x 4″H x 2″D), and the plain leather version goes for $1,550, yet the bag constantly sells out and is on backorder. Fendi is doing something right, and even I am starting to think I need one of these micro bags. I love the printed version, but you have to take a look at this beauty too, I mean: SWOON!

The Fendi By The Way is an enduring style that is elegant and beautiful. Plenty of color and size options have been released, but the clean lines against crisp white leather are stunning. You can carry the By The Way with the shoulder strap or hold it by the top handles for a more tailored look. This bag has crept in as recognizable and coveted.

Since its launch in 1997, Fendi’s iconic ‘Baguette’ bag has seen more than a thousand variations. Carrie Bradshaw made the Baguette hugely popular, and even without the on-screen style star carrying it, this bag is incredibly timeless. This version in glossy black crocodile is what handbag dreams are made of.

Fendi 2Jours Mini Tote Bag in Gray
$1,900 via Neiman Marcus

Originally designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi for the Fall 2012 show, the Fendi 2Jours has moved into the main collection and been reissued in special editions for the Milan runways. Fendi perfects its use of colors and patterns, but the gray shows how well Fendi knows to keep things classic at times.

$3,450 via Neiman Marcus

After the 2Jours, Fendi introduced the 3Jours, and it’s been incredibly well-received. The flared sides alongside the structured body make a striking combination. Even more striking is this exact version with croc-embossed calf hair in magenta. This bag may haunt me.

Fendi Mini Crystal-Croc-Tail Backpack in Light Pink
$2,450 via Neiman Marcus

Backpacks were once seen as simply utilitarian, but designers realized there was a market for luxury backpacks and Fendi jumped on the train. I love this version; it’s pretty and integrates the crystal-embellished tail detailing Fendi introduced on its By The Way bag.
