Every year, Sports Illustrated takes advantage of the surplus of models congregating in NYC during NYFW by throwing a few launch parties for their latest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. When I say “a few”, I mean it: this year’s launch even included a two-day, two-city fan festival in NYC and Nashville (?), in addition to all the usual high-profile, celeb-and-press-only events. Shockingly, the number of great shoes from SI far outweighed the pickings from Fashion Week, even though there were a couple notable heels there as well.
