With Alessandro Michele at the helm of Valentino, the House’s incredible heritage continues to see a reinvigoration. Under Michele’s distinct eye, the new Valentino is bold, beautiful, and intricately exciting, with hints of the past fused throughout.
Now, a year after his runway debut, his vision has been solidified. Michele’s Valentino is bigger and bolder than ever, but it’s worth noting that Michele continues to pay homage to Valentino’s incredible heritage, looking back at the brand’s earliest days.
Maximalism Meets Modern Design
Valentino Garavani was a fan of maximalism in the 70s, and Michele has tapped into that era of the house, marrying his own specific vision with Valentino’s past.
Defined by an unabashedly feminine aesthetic, today’s Valentino returns to the bows, florals, lace, bold embroideries, and embellishments of the brand’s earliest days, and the new Valentino Garavani DeVain bag is the perfect representation of this.
A more relaxed play on the Valentino Garavani Vain bag, which launched for Spring 2025, the new Valentino Garavani DeVain bag makes its debut as part of the Cruise 2026 collection. The Valentino Garavani DeVain bag is more relaxed—softer, yet still chic and undeniably luxe.
Meet the Valentino Garavani DeVain Bag
Launching just in time for holiday dressing, the selection includes an array of beautiful options. From artfully beaded floral motifs and pearl embellishments to sophisticated jacquards—if you’re looking for a statement bag, there’s an option for you.

For a subtler statement bag, the Valentino Garavani DeVain bag also arrives in a range of eye-catching metallics. Of course, you’ll find the usual suspects, such as silver and gold, alongside more fun options like a bold metallic blue, as well as neutral bags for a more minimalist look.
The Valentino Garavani DeVain bag is defined by its sleek envelope-like shape, which is fitted with a magnetic closure and one interior card slit pocket. It’s designed for hand-carried use, although the adjustable strap can also be worn over the shoulder, with its slim body tucked neatly under the arm.

it’s been literal years and I have not gotten used to the V-logo thing. I think if anything alessandro should try to find a new hardware thing that could become the new signature, or an additional signature. I am all here for the cat already. now give us a new logo
It’s awful. It’s tacky. I really hate that logo too.
And I thought I was the only one not getting their brand/logo thing.
It just ruins the bags.
The beading on these is absolutely stunning!
This bag is a work of art and the V should stand for Victory by Valentino ♥️ Bravo
The beading of these bags is gorgeous but they are neither hand held nor shoulder carry – oddly shaped WOCs
Whenever I see a bag like this, I picture myself at a cocktail party with my purse and a cocktail and an appetizer to somehow balance. The shape of this bag to me means you need to have the handle right in the middle in the crook of your arm or it’s going to tilt dramatically. It seems too small to put up over your shoulder and have it in your armpit. Also kind of gross. You can put it on your wrist, but it’s going to slide to your elbow and it’s going to end up becoming vertical real fast. I think it’s because the strap is too thin or too short. It’s just a big no for me.
Did someone’s 90 year old aunt choose the materials? Or was the inspiration antique needlepoint pillows and stools.
I can’t with the V logo. It reminds me of the Voltes 5 logo in a very non fashion way hahaha
