New year, new trends – unless you’re talking about the iconic Fendi Baguette Bag. Though Fendi has been around for almost 100 years, the brand had a serious moment last year, which has seemingly translated into 2020.
In fact, Fendi’s Baguette was named the “Top Revival Product of the Year,” according to Lyst, which may explain why I’ve noticed a string of recently released Baguette-inspired bags.
From $250 to upwards of $3,000, designers including Tom Ford, Nancy Gonzalez, Saint Laurent, and Danse Lente have all released their own interpretations of the Fendi Baguette. Some even include the word ‘Baguette’ in the bag title name. Others, however, are a little more modest, featuring a long and slim baguette-like shape without outwardly using the word ‘Baguette.’
As we wait for Fendi’s 2020 release of additional colors and styles for its Baguette line, consider these picks a happy medium. If you’re looking for a less expensive alternative to the iconic bag, keep this list close by as well.
