Shopbop Has Summer Style Covered

You'll wear these pieces on repeat all summer long...

Shopbop Summer

With summer in full swing, many of us are reaching the point in the season when we’ve realized what pieces our wardrobes lack. Maybe that’s a crisp white tee, a good pair of denim, or a novelty bag to add flair to your outfit. Whatever you’re looking for, you can find it at Shopbop.

Shopbop has been a go-to destination for fashion basics and seasonal trends alike for over 25 years. Personally, I’ve been shopping at Shopbop since high school, with my very first purchase being a brown velour Juicy Couture zip-up with a matching skirt.

This season, I’m adding four key pieces to my wardrobe, and as always, Shopbop is the place for them all.

The Raffia Bag

This one really needs no explanation. The raffia bag is to summer as florals are to spring. Each season, luxury and contemporary designers alike are expanding their raffia offerings. This blue and white crochet raffia bag is perfect for the warm weather months.

It’s lightweight, fits easily over the shoulder, and is roomy enough for your essentials. Ideally, a bag of this shape can hold a book (for reading while sipping on a spritz and waiting for a friend, of course). It pairs perfectly with A.L.C.’s light blue polo.

The Denim Trouser

A good pair of jeans is a must. A good pair of jeans you can dress up or down—now those are essential. I love a pair of jeans in the shape of a trouser because you can do so much with them, and they look effortlessly stylish no matter how you style them.

These mid-rise trouser jeans from denim powerhouse AGOLDE are a great-fitting pair that can be styled in many ways. I’d pair these with sneakers or Birkenstocks and a white tank for that relaxed downtown vibe we all crave, but I also love how they look styled with kitten heels. I’ve had this pair from Schutz since last year and wear them way more often than I’d like to admit.

The Beaded Bag

The beaded bag trend has made a major, and I mean major, comeback in the last few years. It has proven to be more than a one-season wonder, adding the perfect amount of novelty to your collection. One of our favorites continues to be the STAUD Tommy Bag.

Beloved for its boxy shoulder bag silhouette and endless prints and patterns that feel fun but not kitschy, an It-bag for under $400 is rare. While the brand’s more beachy-themed options lend well only to vacations or the warm weather months, this Ladybug print is a bit more transitional.

While I typically opt for lighter-framed sunglasses because of my hair and complexion, I opted to pair these Le Specs sunglasses back to the black trim on the bag.

The White Linen Dress

A linen dress, particularly white linen, is a must-have for summer in the city. It was 90+ degrees the day these images were captured, and I immediately felt relief after changing out of the first outfit and into this Jenni Kayne dress.

Incredibly lightweight and airy, I love a dress with a button front because you can wear it completely closed, as I have it here, or leave a few of the bottom buttons open to get some movement (I prefer it this way when paired with sneakers).

I paired it with a vintage chain belt to give my waist a bit more shape and, again, my trusty Schutz mules. They really pair well with everything!
