26 Raffia Bags Ideal for Your Summer Wardrobe

Raffia for summer? Groundbreaking

While fall and winter bring me great joy for many reasons, summer dressing is my favorite. I think it is often more about the idea of summer than actual summer because, let’s face it, a Florida summer day is brutally hot and humid. However, I seek the lightness and levity that come with summer.

And that goes with my bags as well. I understand that a bag made with a summer material like raffia isn’t necessarily the most imaginative, but I don’t care. I love it.

Summer whites, breezy materials, fun hues, and a mix of materials and designs make summer so intriguing. It’s also the hope for vacation time and relaxation, which we all wait for yearly to get that time away.

The way raffia can be woven and crocheted allows for some really intriguing styles. Nearly every brand has a take on a summer-themed bag. From premiere designer options to more affordable contemporary counterparts, there is a summer raffia bag for everyone.

I just received a new Loewe Front Tote (more on that to come), and I think I may add one more raffia bag to my lineup. After all, what we wear and carry is meant to delight, and these bags take me on those dream-like summer trips that I always wish to go on!

For most of these bags you only pay the brand as they have no original design. Just raffia and a logo and no fun (except for Kate Spade but it is wicker not raffia). There are some brands designing some much more fun raffia bags without high prices for a very seasonnal bag.

I like the pastel hues of the Gucci. And the Sensi Studio bag looks fun, too!
