A Bright, Beautiful Refresh of The Polo ID Collection is Here

We already visited the Polo Ralph Lauren Polo ID Collection, but with new colors for spring and summer (plus ideal timing for Mother’s Day gifting happening right around the corner), we decided to revisit the latest The Polo ID Collection.

Timed perfectly with the changing of the seasons and our wardrobes, these new colorways offer a bright burst of color to allow your bag to be the standout star. As I always say, I am a bag person because it is the easiest and best way to allow a fashion item to make a statement for you.

Sizes and Features

The classic rendition of The Polo ID Collection is offered in three sizes, all shown here.

Each has similar features, namely the double pillow gusset construction with piping to give the bag two distinct compartments and the brass plaque showcasing a cutout silhouette of the signature Pony.

The Polo ID Collection is intended to evoke a sense of adventure, romance, and optimism. The other stylistic nod you will find on this line is the equestrian touch, again which draws back on the brand’s roots.

As for the sizes, each varies in dimension, which allows for completely different ways of wearing.

Usability and functionality are taken into account, and clearly, the design is well-planned while also allowing for a very approachable and easy everyday appeal.

The largest size in a bold color, like this red, is an immediate statement maker. The Italian leather is sumptuous to the touch and allows the body of the bag to keep its shape, thanks to the piping, while naturally sitting without being stiff.

Thanks to the adjustable leather shoulder strap, with a 16″ drop, you can carry this bag in different ways as well. On the inside, you’ll find suede lining and a back zip pocket. Overall dimensions measure 14″ H x 15.5″ L x 3.75″ D.

As for the small size, if carrying daily essentials without looking for an oversized design is your thing, this is the perfect size. The color, Azure Blue in pebbled leather, will immediately take your mind to crystal ocean getaways, and the adjustable shoulder strap again allows for different ways of carrying. Dimensions are 10″ H x 10″ L x 1″ D.

The Mini is what I like to call the little bag that could, offering different ways to carry turn this bag into an entirely new shape. You can carry this bag by day, loop the strap to turn it into a croissant shape for the evening, and then sit it over your shoulder for a 90s throwback feel. Dimensions are 8″ H x 10.25″ L x 1.5″ D.
