Some colors look good on everyone, and the right hue of hunter green fits that bill. It’s rich in color yet still feels neutral. It works with many skin tones and eye and hair colors and feels simultaneously elevated. The right shade of green is a workhorse in the color family, a color that deserves more praise and attention from brands come fall and winter.
Let’s also get this out of the way: technically, some of these items are hunter green, some skew more emerald, and others belong to the deep olive family. However, the point remains that this color family works well as an accessory, larger fashion item, hat, and everything in between.
What first caught my eye was the Louis Vuitton Epi Neverfull, a design that is entirely recognizable in a new colorway (Borneo green, revived from the archives). This brought back memories of my favorite cold weather hat, a Polo Ralph Lauren ball cap that looks great on me (in my clearly humble opinion). And then, I continued down a path of loving and wanting more green in my wardrobe.
These are the items I found and love most. Now I need a little more green (money, duh!) to buy all the green!
I like most of the products. The only one that makes me feel rage is the Zimmerman polo for USD 495 that is made out of viscose and polyamide- the cheapest of the cheapest materials and made in China. I fam always amazed when I see polyester Zimmerman dresses at more than 1K retail.
I don’t love a lot of the pricing in the fashion industry right now! But I hear you!
