I always talk about how a great zip wallet could function perfectly well as a clutch, but it’s rare that a clutch functions as a wallet. In the case of this See by Chloe Chantilly Leather Tassel Zip Wallet, I was completely mistaken and thought I was looking at a clutch before I read the name of the wallet.
Like most of the recent See by Chloe creations, the leather looks lusciously soft (and rather curiously padded, but let’s not dwell on that). The ivory color goes particularly nicely with the light gold accents, giving the clutch a luxurious feel.
The verdict? I’d carry it more often as a clutch, opting to let it shine on its own rather than tossing it in a carryall, no matter how cute. This Art-Deco, old glamour style clutch (fine, wallet) deserves to be seen. Extra points if you curl your locks and paint your nails red. Buy through Bluefly for $158.40.
