Riccardo Tisci’s tenure at Givenchy, was one of the most influential periods for the brand. It was during his time working as creative director that the brand released handbag hit after handbag hit. Under Tisci’s reign it-bags such as the Pandora, Nightingale, and the ever-popular Antigona were introduced.
Celebs in particular loved (and still do!) these designs, and while nearly all of the bags below remain relevant to this day, it’s clear that some things have changed! Though the Antigona is still beloved by many, back in the early 2010s celebs overwhelmingly preferred Givenchy’s larger Antigona models as at the time, big bags were still trending. It’s also fun to look back and see all of the novelty designs that Tisci introduced, though those do feel a bit more dated.
As the brand is celebrating 10 years of the Antigona, we took a look back at the very many Givenchy bags celebs carried from 2008 to 2015. Do you still carry any of these bags?

In the first picture, that Fendi bag caught my attention before the Givenchy. I also like Jessica Bill’s grey coat and Rihanna’s candy colored shoes.

These bags hold up pretty well. Some are still dated, but overall they stand the test of time. And on another note, how is Rihanna’s style always so good even years later. She is timeless, yet never boring.

I loved so many of the Givenchy bags then.. I owned most all and sold them. I still regret selling my black Antigona.
