Last week, several of Givenchy’s Resort 2015 bags appeared on Bergdorf Goodman’s website as available for pre-order. They were removed shortly thereafter, and although I don’t know why, I know that I’d like them to come back so that I can share them with you–they were great, and there’s a new floral for everyone to obsess over. In the meantime, we’re left with only the Givenchy Croc Paneled Nightingale Bag to carry us through, and it’s a pretty neat bag in its own right.
The Nightingale has been around for years, long before Givenchy’s current uber-popularity, and this is maybe my favorite version of it that I’ve seen thus far. The greyed-out, off-white color is a huge shade in fashion right now, and the stark difference between the usual leather and the variation of the embossed-croc lower portion of the bag is great. It’s got a certain amount of minimalism to it without being unusably minimal.
This bag’s pre-order page lives on now in Bergdorf Goodman’s holiday section (even though there’s no guarantee it’ll arrive by then), and when the rest of the Resort 2015 bags return, we’ll be sure to bring them to you. You can order this one for $2,630 via Bergdorf Goodman.
I like the design of the bag but, of course, fro me in a different color, like, in black. 🙂 I’m not so much into white bags. I don’t own white bag.
