The sports world fully embraced the fashion world, creating some memorable moments. We love to visit our favorite sports teams and the bags they carry to and from their arenas, and I recently saw one that really stood out to me. New York Mets slugger and first baseman Pete Alonso showed up at the All-Star Week donning a dapper suit and a Fauré Le Page bag.
The wild part was that his bag was a big part of his fit. He wasn’t going into the stadium needing a travel bag with any of his gear; he was walking a red carpet, and his Fauré Le Page bag was the side star.
He gave an interview that discussed his look and focused on the bag at least half the time! He discussed the Fauré Le Page brand and its history, proving he loved his bag as much as we love our bags. It makes me think that Pete Alonso is one of us. Hi, Pete!
Red Carpet Bag Moment
Typically, we see men in sports carrying bags to and from their games; it’s become a major style moment, and brands have embraced this as much as the players. This instance is interesting because Pete Alonso attended the 2025 MLB All-Star Red Carpet Show. This event is a pre-game tradition, but most other players did not carry a bag to the event, as a larger bag is not typically a red carpet moment.
However, Alonso not only carried a bag; he loved it. He gave an interview about it. His bag was the most significant moment of his look.

Fauré Le Page Favorite
The Carry On Travel Bag is meant to be just that, your carry-on companion. This bag is intended for shorter getaways, featuring luxe leather trim and the classic FLP scale canvas. You can carry it by the top handles, wear it over the shoulder, or even use the strap to carry it cross-body.
Practical features on the inside, including double interior pockets and a zip-top closure, ensure your items won’t spill. This is a charming option for anyone on the go, and as a big fan of the brand myself, seeing Fauré Le Page have a red carpet moment delights my bag-loving heart.
love this!
