In November, Salvatore Ferragamo announced the launch of a capsule shoe collection with acclaimed shoe designer Edgardo Osorio of Aquazzura to celebrate Ferragamo’s 100 years in Hollywood. The collection is filled with bold colors, polka dots and clean lines, with a whimsical and artistic vibe. The Edgardo Osorio for Salvatore Ferragamo collection highlights Ferragamo’s commitment to promoting young talent, and this collection feels both youthful and fresh.
There are many shoes from the collection that I love–mainly the cool strappy polka dot flats–but the Winged Sandals are major standouts. The feathered wings cascade from blue to pink, hitting several colors in between; you won’t find a better stand-out accessory than these heels. Ferragamo shoes are known to be incredibly comfortable, so even though these are stilettos, they will probably be more comfortable than your average pair of pumps. They can be yours for $1,250 via Ferragamo.
When you have a stunning pair of shoes, the bag you pair it with can still be a beauty, but also should be toned down a bit. I love the Salvatore Ferragamo Gancio Lock Bag. It’s compact and structured, and this version features a few colors to provide visual interest. I love how this bag comes together and I like the two together, but would also like to carry a simple black clutch with these shoes for an evening out. The bag is $1,990 via Ferragamo.
I want those shoes!
I didn’t know they made My Little Pony sandals!
The Salvatore Ferragamo Gancio Lock Bag is basically the Marisol with a square detail. I think they are some of the best bags Ferragamo makes in terms of design , aesthetic and practicality. They were also featured in a vogue spread about square shaped bags being on trend.
They fly under the radar and are very chic. Although I wished the depth of the bags could be slightly increased. Anything under 3 inches and it’s a pain putting your sunglasses in.
