It’s somewhat rare for a brand not to have e-commerce in this day and age, but the luxury fashion industry still has quite a few holdouts. That is no longer the case for Fendi; just this week, Fendi.com opened up its online shop, including a large variety of the brand’s most coveted bags.
Fendi.com first opened up sales to European countries in March, and the US site launched this week. The brand has been pleased with how the European site’s sales have performed, and with how coveted its bags are in the US, the site launch is bound to be welcomed by shoppers. Fendi plans to have website exclusives as well, so stay tuned for that.

Overall I’m very excited about this, but I’m disappointed in how limited their website offering is compared to how much is really available out there for purchase. Hopefully this will change going forward and there will be a greater selection of items from which to choose.
