2025 marks 100 years and 5 generations of Fendi, and the Fall 2025 collection is the final chapter in its celebratory year. Silvia Venturini Fendi, whose grandparents founded Fendi in 1925, remembers fondly the many eras of Fendi that she has been part of, and this collection is a culmination of those distinct, personal memories.
“I didn’t want to spend too much time dwelling on the physical archives. For me, FENDI 100 is more about my personal memories – real or imagined – of what FENDI was and what FENDI means today.” – Silvia Venturini Fendi
Statement Makers
Opening the show is a statement piece: a bold fur coat worn as a dress and cinched with a thin gold belt; the look is a precursor for what was to come. Tactile fabrics, lots of them, utilize unique patchworked techniques applied to shearling to offer the look of fox, mink, and sable—they are not what they appear to be at first glance.
Dramatic silhouettes, like statement sleeves, flounced hems, and bold outerwear, are present throughout. Still, there is a distinct air of Fendi romanticism, and the collection is not devoid of lace details on lingerie-inspired dresses and georgette blouses.
Plus, plenty of playful embellishments are present throughout. As for the palette, it’s neutral but not boring, said to be inspired by the hues of Rome at night.
The Bags of Fendi Fall 2025
As expected, the collection was chock full of Fendi’s most iconic bags, like the Peekaboo and the Baguette, including the newly revived Fendi Mama Baguette. However, stealing the show is the return of the Fendi Spy bag 20 years after its initial launch in 2005.
The bag’s unmistakable shape is given a fresh spin, showcased in shiny leather with a tactile finish, silk, and shearling. However, the original’s iconic hidden spy tube pocket is noticeably absent. Overall, the bags are incredibly playful and fun.
In true Fendi form, embellishments and an array of playful charms are present, including Fendi Maxi charm characters. The Baguette is given a myriad of fun finishes, from a leopard-printed watersnake version to tweeds embellished with stones, studs, and paillettes. Other bags mirror the tactile fabrics used within the RTW, and overall, every single detail is given extra thought.

I am GAGGING. I am obsessed! FINALLY they reissue the Spy, I have been waiting for an official return. YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!
Yaas I am so glad the one I got on resale a couple of yrs ago is now gonna see the SPOTLIGHT! Always loved a spybag 🙂
ME TOO! When I tell you, I ran to the resale market. I’ve had Spy bags saved in my favorites and watch lists for the last few years as I had a feeling it was coming!
That giant bag charm is th size of a small child 😂
Okay…Spy Bag is back and that’s cool!
But…if the hidden, lipstick pocket isn’t there, then how can it be a Spy Bag? Hmmm
for me it was the woven handles. the rest of the design isn’t really anything to write home about! This was the first designer bag I saw and said, this is SPECIAL and I want one. I was in college and barely making money babysitting, and I didn’t even know at the time where to find such a thing, but a person I saw at a weekly appointment waiting room had one and I drooled over it for nearly a year. Bring back the cool handles!
This is what it made fun! And why it’s called the Spy Bag! 💄
Ohhhhh what a watershed moment for Fendi!!! This show! Those fabrics on the clothes! Those BAGS!!! I am agog at the creativity AND the breadth of the line-up! That’s a lot of merch! Beautiful tweeds, velvets, furs, leathers, (those boots with that curved heel!) Fabulous. Not a “dog” in the line-up, honestly. The Spy looks great with her old carousing buddies of yore. Glad they got “the whole band back together”. Once a Fendi Fan, always a Fendi Fan.
First of all, I really appreciate that they carried the bags by their straps (with a few exceptions)
Secondly, I adore the satin spy!
The Spy’s back – I’m obsessed. Can’t wait to get my hands on either the burgundy eel skin one or the black satin one. Or both? I have to see them IRL, but the burgundy one is lovely.
LOVE this collection!
What a wonderful way to celebrate 100 years of Fendi’s iconic style.
Some really gorgeous bags in this collection1
Still not a fan of the Spy Bag even in its newest iteration.
Love the Peek-a-Boo and the baguettes. As always, the materials are gorgeous.
I’m VERY curious to know the price of those child bag charms. I’m assuming they’re going to be just as much or more than a bag.
OMG these bags are GORGEOUS!!!
The collection is beautiful!
Luxurious materials and as always great designs.
Happy to see the Spy is back, but it’s not the same without the beautiful woven handles.
Finally my almost new Spy will get more use. A smooshy dark navy blue one I bought when the hype of the Spy was fading. I was hoping for it’s return, but not sure if it will have the same appeal with the new soft handles and without the little hidden room attatched.
Pretty sure that’s eel skin, not patent leather?
Couldn’t confirm! As the press release didn’t mention exact materials – but it could be, or could also be faux. Though Fendi does use exotics and there is watersnake used in this collection! Ofc will share more details when we can 🙂
When can I get my hands one of these beautiful darlings
The dolls are cute!
I absolutely love this collection
I loveeeeee the mama baguette!!
