The days of the fashion week scenes being ruled by the 4 major cities (New York, London, Paris, and Milan) are long over. While there was once a time when the stylish set paid little attention to much else, more and more cities are hosting their own fashion weeks these days. And no, these aren’t small-scale productions that fly under the radar; these are big events, capturing the attention of locals and outsiders alike.
Copenhagen, Denmark, was once an up-and-coming city for the fashion set, but now it is THE city, with many now-coveted brands getting their start during CPHFW, like Ganni and Malene Birger. Copenhagen’s style is unique in the best possible way. We couldn’t miss an opportunity to marvel at the city’s eclectic but still stylish and sleek avant-garde European looks. The CPH street style squad also brought out their best bags; below, we’ve got a look at the bags spotted on the arms and in the hands of Spring/Summer 2023 attendees.
I love Scandi fashion and brands! They strike a good mix of comfortable and structured, classic and funky, weird and wearable. It doesn’t seem to necessarily prioritize “flattering” or “pretty” as an outfit’s highest calling, which is rather fun and freeing.
My favorite fashion week post ever! I like so many of these outfits
I agree – so many great pieces here!
Agreed!!!love the fashion taste and bags!
The gentleman depicted carries a Lemaire croissant bag 🙂
Ooohh happy to see the lv wilshire pm out again. I have it in rose pop color its showing some wear but i still love it keeping it for its sentimental value.
Love the post. Did I see Prada leg warmers? Hahaha!
Yes, I LOVE THEM! I say love from afar I wouldn’t exactly purchase them, but as a former ballet dancer, they definitely tugged at my heart a bit.
Love the lady in the 3rd photo’s style!
Anyone know the brand of the green crossbody bag (hot pink suit)?
I think it’s Stine Goya’s Jannis Hobo Bag.
Or possibly Stine Goya’s Julius Bag, which from the size seems more likely
It reminds me a lot of BV’s twist but I haven’t seen that in crossbody form before.
I like the mix of old, new, and vintage handbags. I also like that most look effortless. Yet, you know that each look probably took a bit of effort.
In Copenhagen someone always carries a Loewe bag.
does anyone think the vernis wilshire bag will get transfer marks or scratches from the bag charms?
