Gift sets can be hit or miss. Sometimes, I equate a gift set with a birthday party gift bag. Such a nice thought, but just a bit more randomness to add to the ‘random drawers’ in my house. You all have those, too, right?
However, a luxury gift set is one area that I will splurge on, obviously for gifting. Sometimes, it is for myself, but other times, it is the perfect hostess gift or gift for a friend’s birthday. Exclusive Gift Sets from Chanel
Chanel gift sets already fit into the special category by name. These exclusive sets were designed by the Cometes Collective in collaboration with the CHANEL Makeup Creation Studio. There are two options: the Nature Getaway and the City Break.
Both are themed – colorwise. The coral and pink hues of the Nature Getaway are inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s leisurely walks in the woods. The pouch that comes with this set is a book-shaped case that recalls herbaria manuals and other botanical works.
The Nature Getaway includes Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow Stick in 823 Morning Dew, Ombre Essentielle Multi-Use Longwearing Eyeshadow in 822 Rose in Hand, Le Liner De Chanel Liquid Eyeliner High Precision Longwear in 824 Heart Beat, and Rouge Coco Flash Hydrating Vibrant Shine Lip Colour in 825 Bisous.
The City Break’s inspiration comes from quick bites you can indulge in on the go, hence the lime green lunch-bag-style holder.
The City Break set comes with Ombre Première Laque Longwear Liquid Eyeshadow in 833 Grasshopper, 2 x Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue Ultrawear Liquid Lip Colour in 834 Défendu and 835 Érotica, and Le Vernis Longwear Nail Colour in 832 Flesh.
I bought both sets and they’re all full sized products. The green “lunch bag” is very petite. The overall packaging design was super nice and I’m happy with them both.

I bought the Nature Getaway since my DIL loves Chanel makeup and the colors would look perfect on her! However, are they sample sizes because, taking a second look, they look small. I guess I can always return it?
They are full size!
So I just looked at the site, and it appears they are full-sized, but I don’t see that written specifically! I believe it is and hope it is!
Just received it today and it’s full-sized. Also, it’s beautifully wrapped with a fast 3 day, turnaround.
