As we gear up for the Fall 2025 season, Chanel is here to delight with Pre-Collection Fall 2025. Some designer brands, but not all, offer pre-collections, and most of the ones that sneak in a precursor to Fall’s larger collection don’t provide nearly as big of a selection as Chanel.
Chanel knows what it’s doing, satiating its most brand loyal fans with a little something new when they need it, and devotees of the brand are blessed by the often overwhelming number of new collections and bags that drop yearly.
Still, one difference between Pre-Collection and Runway Collection is that the bags and the RTW are often more wearable and commercial, following similar themes to what will come later in the season.
A Closer Look: Bags That Define Pre-Fall 2025
This year’s Pre-Collection does not disappoint. It features a bevy of great bags from new iterations of brand classics like quilted flaps and novelty minaudieres, plus new versions of the Chanel 25—you need to see the mini version!
Eagle-eyed fans will also notice that Spring 2022’s heart bags are BACK, in shiny metallic, baby blue, and light pink. Check out some of our favorites below and view all the looks from Pre-Collection Fall 2025 via Chanel.

Forget the bags, I want that Trimline phone in the last photo. Super comfortable and it will last forever!!
Nothing works here – model, clothing, accessories, bag – this mess even makes Paris look drab
Go visit Paris
that’s jennie. she’s a kpop idol. I think chanel campaigns aim at reflecting a younger generation. unlike with other brands, I don’t see as much of a creative direction, but rather an attempt at evoking youth culture.
Ok, creative director girlie, let’s hear how you would have planned this shoot, and stick to the budget
Ironic, considering that age doesn’t have the funds to buy new Chanel bags. When I was in my 20s, I was decorating my house and when I was in my 30s I was buying Oshkosh overalls for my kids.
So ironic that not everyone had your aspirations!
The chicness of Chanel bags, commonly thought of as class and “old wealth” is incongruent with young girls, thus a few of the pictures above fall flat. Looks like she is carrying her Mother’s bag.
Ageist and classist
lol…riiiiight. what 20 year old can afford a 7500 bag?
My classic jumbo flap was 11,500 3 months ago.
I like the bags, I like the model, and I like the campaign! Not sure why so many are posting negative comments. She’s gorgeous. The bags are gorgeous. And these early spring pictures of Paris are perfect.
I love the eyeshadow palette bag, what a cool collectors item
Looks like the Chanel mini 25 is actually the backpack version.
The 25 has looked like a sad Lindy knock off in previous iterations.
The ludicrously capacious Large actually looks good.
The minaudiere is everything! Appeals to my love of chanel make up- or at least when I used to buy it 20 years ago and had about 20 of those compacts. I’m girly so I love these feminine pastels with the all black and they need to infuse some youth into this brand whether they can afford it or not- it makes it look fresh, the previous collections have felt repetitive, uninspired and a bit stuffy in my opinion. Love the model! I wanted not to like any of it but unfortunately I love all of it…. I’m a sucker for hearts too.
Is anyone else ready for the new creative director?! Chanel needs a revamp it’s been the same looks, textures and COLORS it’s always pink. (Light, dark, medium) hues of the same colors every season tans beige blues and pastels if they wondered why sales are down it’s because it’s the same exact thing every season just different HUES. They creativity is dead along with the late KARL. The brand is so focused on change or adding top handles to their bags (ground breaking ) NOT !!or added charms on the adjustable chain. Chanel once embellished their bags with tons of creative artistry that told stories and made you want to fight to own a piece of art now’s just predictable and dull. Make the price increase worthy at least. Spring 2017 one of my favorite runway shows. Chanel is not about ageism I believe she wanted to change everything that was considered uniform/conforming. To me the model is just a model. Look past the model and focus on what the picture is trying to evoke
