In the last few years, the summer season has become increasingly important in the luxury world, with our favorite heritage brands creating one-off capsule collections separate from their larger runway collections. These capsules are not all that different from resort wear, but rather than dropping in the fall ahead of the winter travel season, they hit just in time for summer, celebrating the warm-weather months.
French Chic Meets Summer Ease
This summer, Michael Rider brings his French-meets-Americana aesthetic to Été Celine, the latest beach-ready capsule, revealed in brand-new campaign images lensed by Zoë Ghertner. The campaign, released alongside a series of images by Japanese Photographer Takashi Homma, celebrates the ease of summer.

Rider expands upon his runway collection, outfitting a range of ready-to-wear in lightweight fabrics and cool summer hues. Stripes and cotton poplins give way to crochet, and all-over Triomphe print, with pieces meant to be worn both on and off the beach—of course, this includes a Triomphe logo print bikini (swoon).
A Closer Look at Été Celine
Rider’s Celine continues to stress the art of accessorizing, and this campaign is a master class in just that. For the bag (and accessory) lovers among us, Rider reinvents the classic basket bag this season in a sleek but slouchy, more minimalist way, finished with leather details and subtle nods to the classic Celine Triomphe.
Triomphe Jelly sandals will leave you feeling nostalgic for youthful summer days, while silk scarves and gold jewelry give new meaning to beachside chic. Discover more in the gallery below and shop Été Celine now via Celine.

This print really looks like Coach
And the raffia looks like J Crew’s popular beach bag that’s been around for years.
I love all of it. So chic!
