Pierpaolo Piccioli, known for his dreamy, romantic aesthetic full of movement and distinct, vibrant energy, has brought his attention to detail to Balenciaga—and we continue to grow more enamored with his vision for the storied couture house.
Piccioli, whose debut collection for Balenciaga was unveiled at Paris Fashion Week for Spring 2026, effortlessly melds past eras of the brand, returning to its core ethos in a way that feels entirely fresh without sacrificing its heritage.
A New Chapter for Balenciaga
Alongside a parade of gorgeous ready-to-wear pieces featuring bold colors and statement designs, Piccioli also offered a look at his direction for Balenciaga’s accessories, which feel like the perfect mix of old and new.
While Piccioli embraced the iconic City Bag, he also demonstrated a penchant for reinvention, introducing three new core silhouettes, including the Clicca bag. Focusing on architectural lines and meticulous attention to detail, the Clicca embodies the effortlessly cool appeal of Balenciaga we know and love—reimagined in an entirely new way.
Introducing the Clicca Bag
The Clicca is one of those grab-and-go bags with an effortless slouch that somehow feels both casual and refined, making it ideal for both day-to-night wear and a range of dress codes.
What defines the bag is not only its relaxed construction, which creates a distinct V-shape, but also its bold hardware—a new addition to the brand. On the Clicca, a rectangular metal lock with rounded edges features a subtle “B” on the clasp that might go unnoticed at first glance.
Oversized gold buckles are not only functional, allowing the strap to be adjusted, but also serve as a striking design detail. The Clicca has just dropped alongside Piccioli’s other new bags, arriving in classic Balenciaga Arena lambskin and suede. Shop the new Clicca bag now via Balenciaga for $3,150.

I love it. So glad Balenciaga is getting a new life.
Ohh, I don’t like it.
I like the pink-purplish color.
Maybe its considered magenta?
It would look slightly better with a big capital V logo.
Nahhh this bag is trash, I’ve seen irl. The new IT bag however is the exquisite new runway city bag in plum with calfskin leather. It’s a very limited piece as they didn’t produce very many. The leather is the very best they’ve done in well over a decade or more. It’s so soft and buttery and just makes the city look more elevated while still remaining effortlessly cool. Don’t even get me started on the color! It’s HANDS DOWN the best, most rich, cool purple shade they’ve ever done. It’s absolutely divine.
I’d got Fendi vibe
Accessories have never been him or his team’s strength
It looks a lot like the Fendi mamma baguette to me?
Very blah.
The pink color is amazing but the suede is not
